Sound Reinforcement for Musical Theatre

    I have owned and maintained my own professional sound system for over 30 years. In that time I have operated sound for many musical acts (my own and others). More recently I have served as sound designer, advisor to the student designer, and practicum student supervisor for musical productions at Kent State University where I have also been teaching the Sound Design and Technology class. I am currently developing a summer workshop for  KSU entitled "It's Not Your Father's PA Anymore" that is designed to bring established educators and community members up to speed on equipment they may already be using. Although it is really more of an engineering job than a design position, I can help in the sound reinforcement field on several levels.  Whether you need someone to set up and operate a sound system for your production or just need a little consulting help, give me a call.
